There is no word in the vocabulary


Imagine it. In the languages up here, there is no word for mercy. I noticed it the other night when I was listening to the translator during one of my talks, and I was talking with a missionary about it yesterday. There is no word for mercy, no concept of mercy in this language. Imagine living in a culture where the idea was so foreign that there was no need for a word to be developed.
